Common troubleshooting steps

A map download fails or stalls

Check free storage first — the required size is shown next to the region. Then verify the connection (prefer Wi-Fi for large regions) and retry; interrupted downloads resume rather than restart from zero.

My position is wrong or missing

GPS needs a reasonably clear view of the sky; indoors or in tunnels accuracy drops on any device. Confirm the app has location permission in system settings. Remember that GPS itself needs no internet — a missing connection is not the cause.

Search finds nothing

Offline search works within downloaded regions. If a place is outside every region on the device, download the region that contains it.

The watch app asks for a download

Wear OS standalone use requires the map region to be on the watch itself — a region on the phone is not automatically on the watch. See the Wear OS guide.

Support questions

How can I contact support?

You can reach the Pino team at support@m23n.com. The support page also covers common troubleshooting steps.

Does Pino work without internet?

Yes. After you download a map region, Pino works offline: map display, place search, route calculation and turn-by-turn navigation all run on your device without an internet connection. You only need internet to download or update map regions.

Does GPS work without internet?

Yes. GPS is independent of mobile data or Wi-Fi. Your device receives positioning signals directly from satellites, so Pino can show your location and navigate on downloaded maps even in airplane mode or in areas with no coverage.
